5 inch gauge Simplex 0-6-0T

A 5 inch gauge 0-6-0T to Martin Evans' "Simplex" design, a stalled restoration project which now needs reassembling.

The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued - it held pressure well, with some minor leaks from fittings. The chassis runs on air - nicely forwards, slightly choppy in reverse.

There is play evident in the axleboxes, valve gear and motion work, however it could be run as-is and improved during out of season maintenance.

Missing the dome and various fittings - all other parts included are shown in the pictures opposite.
