5 inch gauge "Sweet Pea" 0-4-0ST

A venerable example of "Sweet Pea", this one came from its builder, a man now in his eighth decade and well on with a 5 inch gauge King and Allchin (yes, simultaneously - I only hope I have the energy when I get to that age!)

Built in the 1980s, the engine hasn't been run in many years - its driving truck has been living under a cover in a trailer outside, the engine itself under a bench in the shed.

Very grubby, due a repaint and the pressure gauge is horrid. On the plus side it pushes along freely and, underneath the dirt, was well made in the first place.

Boiler was commercially built by Swindon in 1984 - there's a leak on the front tubeplate which is accessible but will need the boiler lifting to get it cleaned up before repair.
