7 1/4 inch gauge Roanoke shunter

Heavy-duty construction with 12mm plate frames, all roller bearing axle boxes, CNC-machined EN8 steel wheels and axles, roller-bearing coupling rods and 3mm steel body. 5.5hp electric start engine with the dead reliable Eaton hydraulic transmission, giving infinitely variable gearing from full forward to full reverse. There is a large car-size battery mounted under the bonnet and even a pair of air horns!

I find this engine very comfortable to drive. It's rather larger than a 4 inch scale steam engine (like a Hunslet or Romulus) - Joe's sits very comfortably beside his Tinkerbell.
