Myford Super 7B

A Myford Super 7B in excellent condition, a well-maintained machine which until recently kept company with another Myford Super 7B in the same workshop - this one set up with a four jaw chuck, the other machine with a three jaw - along with the super Linley jig borer we sold recently.

An imperial machine, on maker's industrial coolant tray with optional countershaft clutch, indexable leadscrew dials, thread dial indicator and and gearbox.

The bed is in very good condition, the saddle runs without shake or tight spots from end to end on the bed.

Complete with three and four jaw chucks, faceplate, tailstock drill chuck, centres and a selection of cutting tools. There is a Myford switch panel included, as fitted to their industrial cabinet stands.

Fitted with a three phase motor, it's been run on a phase converter in the past. It would be easy to replace with a single phase motor, alternatively continue to run either on a phase converter or inverter giving variable speed control.
