Vintage 3 1/2 inch gauge 4-6-2T

A venerable 3 1/2 inch gauge tank locomotive carrying a builder's plate dated 1910 - from the design and construction we'd say that looks entirely plausible, a scenic running rather than passenger-hauling engine, with brass fire-tube boiler fired by a primus type paraffin burner and slip eccentric valve gear.

Although we're pretty sure this was intended to be 3 1/2 inch gauge, it comes out a about 1/16" over according to our ruler.

In deference to its age, method and material of boiler construction we've not attempted to test this one - at 110 years old, it's ready for a well-earned retirement on display!
