5 inch gauge steam outline LMS "Jubilee"

An ingeniously conceived 5 inch gauge battery-electric LMS Jubilee, built using parts from a ModelWorks kit.

The tender contains a pair of batteries and is fitted with two motors, with isolator switch and remote control handset.

There is a soundcard fitted with separate on//off control.

Well put together and nicely painted. The locomotive, minus the weight of parts unnecessary for battery-electric operation - including the boiler - is an easy lift. The tender is heavier than standard, although removal of the batteries makes lifting and transport easy for one person.
