3 1/2 inch gauge Southern S15

A 3 1/2 inch gauge Southern Railway S15; an older model in rather scruffy condition, it needs some work to recommission.

The chassis rolls freely, it will require missing header to cylinder steam pipes replacing before it can be run on air.

The boiler has had a recent hydraulic test with new certification issued - we would warranty it as sound. There is an axle pump fitted but not connected; the handpump has been tee-ed into the right hand injector.

A worthwhile project - it's a handsome design, rarely modelled in this gauge (in fact Southern engines are rather scarce in any gauge compared to those of other companies in the Big Four, which remains a mystery to us).
