Gauge 1 LMS Jubilee "Leander"

We sold this one back in February 2025 - unused in that time and still beautifully wrapped up in it's manufacturer's foam packaging, it's just as lovely this time around.

A gauge 1 LMS Jubilee No.45690 "Leander" by Bowande, in excellent condition appearing to have had little if any use from new.

We rate Bowande products highly - they're beautifully made, finely detailed and have a host of features making them easy to steam and service.

This one is no exception - the ceramic gas burner lit easily, the boiler raising steam quickly. The safety valves work beautifully - works of art in their own right!

On test the three cylinder engine proved free-steaming and ran very well in either direction, the manufacturer claiming a 40 minute run time from the tender-mounted gas tank.

Complete with owner's handbook, pump handle and tool for fixing the locomotive to tender coupling pin - if only all engines we get in came thus equipped!
