1 1/2 inch scale Allchin "Royal Chester" agricultural engine

A 1 1/2 inch scale Allchin agricultural engine to Bill Hughes "Royal Chester" design.

An older engine, we sold this one in a state of some dilapidation back in January - there are pictures of it in the Archive here.

It's since had a complete cosmetic overhaul - pictures opposite were taken this week.

An older engine, it turns over freely and ran well on air last time we had it. However, at some point during the restoration it's lost most of its gaskets, and those that have been refitted lack any kind of sealant - these will need replacement before running.

Requiring little expenditure other than time, the only workshop facilities required would be a set of spanners and a kitchen table - an ideal project for a few Autumn evenings.
