1 1/2 inch scale Burrell SCC agricultural engine

A 1 1/2 inch scale Burrell single crank compound agricultural engine, a type we rarely see modelled in any scale.

An older engine, it runs beautifully on air. Paintwork is of pedestrian standard and worn in places - given the rarity of the model and quality of build, the engine would merit repainting and lining out to a better standard.

In deference to its age and lack of any previous boiler history we've made no attempt to test the boiler - our thought being it was unlikely to spend much time hacking around the rally fields (although if you do want to do that we've got other engines which would probably be more suitable...)
