1 1/2 inch scale Burrell traction engine

Well-made model of a Burrell agricultural traction engine to the Bassett-Lowke design. Two speed engine with winching drum mounted on the back axle, copper boiler fed by mechanical pump and injector. Painted in lined out maroon.

This engine came from the collection of a prolific model engineer who built stationary engines, locomotives and traction engines over a forty year period. It is nicely made and particularly well-fitted - it runs just as nicely as it looks.
