1 1/2 inch scale part-built Allchin Traction engine

A well-advanced 1 1/2 inch scale Allchin built to Hughes' "Royal Chester" design, underneath the grime there is a substantial quantity of good quality work here, the commercially-built silver soldered copper boiler is complete with test certificate.

Work to date comprises:

· Wheels

· Front axle assembly, complete with leaf spring, perch bracket, spud pan

· Complete tender in brass with water pocket, fairleads, water lifter hose bracket, reversing lever

· Hornplates assembled with crank, main bearings, valve and pump eccentrics, second shaft, all gearing, gear selector, connecting rod, axle boxes, dummy road springs, flywheel, spectacle plate

· Cylinder block complete with piston, rod and crosshead, regulator, safety valve chimneys, valve chest cover

· Valve and pump eccentric straps and rods

· Trunk guide, weighshaft and expansion link assembly

· Differential and back axle
