1 inch scale Fowler BB1 ploughing engine

A Maxitrak 1 inch scale coal-fired Fowler BB1 ploughing engine. This one came to us from a doctor in the South of England, appearing to have had little use from new having spent most of its life on display.

The boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued, the mechanical pump and safety valves work efficiently.

The engine runs well, although the regulator is a little "all or nothing" - it may just be that our fingers are better suited to 4 inch scale and bigger engines!
