2 1/2 inch gauge "Eagle" 2-6-0

A 2 1/2 inch gauge Mogul to Martin Evans' "Eagle" design. Built to a good standard, the locomotive has been steamed on a few occasions - it's reported as running well for a lap or two, after which the gas canister has a tendency to ice up with deleterious effects on the fire. Some further development required on the gas burner then, the rest of the engine is in fine fettle.

Complete with a nicely made fitted carrying case.
