2 inch scale Fowler DCC road locomotive boiler

A commercially built silver soldered copper boiler by the estimable R.Chambers of Weymouth, bought by the previous owner's father many years ago for a project which never got further than the planning stage.

We believe it to be for a 2 inch scale Fowler DCC road locomotive to the Plastow "Princess" design. Key dimensions are:

• Barrel diameter 4 1/2 inches, length 12 inches
• Firebox 6 3/4 inches long by 4 3/4 inches wide across outer edges

It's in good, unused condition if rather grubby from thirty years sitting under a bench.
