3 1/2 inch gauge "Conway" 0-4-0ST

A 3 1/2 inch gauge narrow gauge Hunslet style 0-4-0ST to Martin Evans' "Conway" design, the work of a prolific engineer. Build is workmanlike rather than show winning, however the engine has had use at the builder's club in the past, boiler is sound and the engine is in running order (although fair to say it goes better one way than t'other).

Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by axle and hand pumps. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser in the cab.
