3 1/2 inch gauge "Tich" 0-4-0T

The finest 3 1/2 inch gauge "Tich" we've seen in years (indeed perhaps ever). A variation based on LBSC's large boiler design, the execution is immaculate - machining and platework (including the beautiful flush copper riveting to the water tanks) puts us in mind of the 6 inch gauge Great Eastern tank locomotive by George Woodcock which we had in some years ago.

We'll let the pictures opposite do the talking for this one. It shows signs of having been steamed in the past, although hard to detect from condition of motionwork and valve gear which remains in immaculate, ex-works condition.

Given its age and unpainted condition we've made no attempt either to test or steam the engine - we've simply admired it as a superb little piece of model engineering.
