3 1/2 inch Southern Schools 4-4-0

A 3 1/2 inch gauge Southern Schools 4-4-0 to LBSC's "Roedean" design, with the three cylinder piston valve chassis at an advanced stage.

Grubby from years of storage, underneath it's been built to a good standard. Complete with:

• profiled cab platework, running boards and valances in brass
• unmachined gunmetal castings for smokebox door and front ring, dome, petticoat pipe, chimney and tender hand pump, axleboxes, horns and dummy leaf springs
• unmachined cast iron tender wheels
• folder containing copies of original construction articles from "Mechanics" magazine 1948/9
• set of drawings
