3/4 inch scale Michael Holden Allchin agricultural engine

A coal-fired 3/4 inch scale Allchin traction engine by Michael Holden of Banbury - unfired from new, it's complete with maker's operating instructions.

Makers of finely detailed models, I don't know what happened to the company - we've had a few of their engines through, nicely made engines with a good likeness to the full-sized prototypes.

This one is complete and turns over freely. It's grubby from storage, but a quick wipe reveals bright motionwork under the oil and dust - it would clean up to look as new. One back wheel slides on and off its axle, I suspect there's a clip or grub screw missing.
