4 inch scale Foster agricultural engine

A 4 inch scale Foster agricultural engine, it's come to us from the family of the builder, unsteamed from new.

Boiler is welded steel with expanded tubes - it's had a twice working pressure shell test, with ultrasonic survey and internal inspection by camera.

The engine runs on air, eccentric sheaves have been made so that they can be adjusted without dismantling the straps.

The blower is currently plumbed into the valve chest cover - somewhat unsightly and not the ideal place to get steam for something you usually only want to use when the regulator's closed...

Road registered with V5, complete with driver's seat for the tender, set of drawings and photographs of the build.
