5 inch gauge Class 20

A 5 inch gauge BR Class 20 battery-electric, recently arrived with us as part of a collection of battery electrics alongside an AME Neptune 3 and Phoenix "Tug".

Fitted with a Parkside controller with a pair of unbranded motors per axle.

Sold as a project, the sound card and running lights both work and all motors run successfully on our test rig. However, the locomotive remains resolutely stationary when run as a complete outfit - we suspect a fault in the controller.

The locomotive will require a pair of batteries.
