5 inch gauge Class 31 battery electric

A 5 inch gauge Class 31 battery electric locomotive, this one has come in recently along with a 7 1/4 inch gauge Class 20.

Powered by four Fasco 12 volt 2809-530-083 motors with Mtroniks DCI120-24 motor controller and handset. There is an Mtroniks Difisound 602 sound card fitted, complete with speaker in an enclosure.

In running order, complete with batteries, the locomotive needs various minor jobs attending to. These include refixing one of the motors to its stop pin, provision of some covering for one or two of the alarmingly uninsulated wires, and establishing a 12 volt feed for the lights and sound card, which are currently inoperative.

Includes a spare body, in Rail Freight livery.
