5 inch gauge GWR shunters wagon

A finely made 5 inch gauge GWR shunters wagon, a well-detailed model fitted with the distinctive footboards and handrails used by shunters when riding around a yard.

The asymmetic toolbox, typical of the prototype, is signwritten "Park Royal", a London station on the Great Western; opened in 1903 to serve an exhibition at the Royal Agricultural Showground, it closed in 1937.
