A 5 inch gauge Phoenix Project 0-4-0 battery electric - a well-regarded, pretty much bullet proof design with all steel chassis and bodywork, two 150 watt motors and wheelsets in EN8 steel.
The locomotive weighs 26Kg without batteries, making it easy to manhandle and transport to the club. Once there it takes five minutes to put the batteries back in - all up weight is then 45Kg.
Assembled from a kit, it has been test run briefly - it is in close to new condition, complete with a pair of Yuasa sealed batteries.
Complete with remote control - although there is a switch marked "horn" this doesn't appear to go anywhere, there is some additional wiring in the cab which looks like it was destined for a sound card.
