5 inch gauge "Simplex" 0-6-0T

A 5 inch gauge 0-6-0T to Martin Evans' "Simplex" design, in running order although requiring some work to bring up to scratch.

The silver soldered copper boiler has had recent hydraulic test with new certification issued.

Work required includes:

• Replace axlebox springs - fairly stiff to turn over, although jacked up to the correct running height the engine runs well in either direction
• Replace missing pressure gauge and pipework
• Service/replace whistle valve
• Replace missing injector steam pipe
