Complete and running, it requires a variety of jobs attending to, including:

• rear near-side wheel loose on axle
• replace missing bolts on centre axlebox hornstays
• replace piston rod to crosshead pin, which shows excessive wear
• replace missing crosshead bolts
• replace grate
• service drain cocks, which don't close
• repack cylinder glands
• attend to loose motion brackets

The engine runs on air - surprisingly better in reverse than forwards.

The commercially built CE-marked boiler by Western Steam has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued.
