A well built engine, the commercially built CE-marked boiler has had recent hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued - new clack valves, pressure gauge union and safety valves were fitted at this time, the engine is supplied with an extended 12-month warranty.

In good condition throughout, it has been well-maintained by its previous owner. The paintwork was well done originally and remains in bright condition.

The engine runs well in either direction, boiler feed is by twin injectors - they work effectively whilst water in the brass tank remains cool, as it warms up less so. The water valves themselves leak slightly, we'd be tempted to use the tank for ballast and take water from a tank on the driving truck.
