5 inch gauge "Sweet Pea"

A brand new, unsteamed “Sweet Pea”, built to a good standard and fitted with a commercially-built boiler by Blackgates Engineering. The engine runs well on air, fit and finish of the motion is good, backhead is neatly laid out.

Silver soldered copper boiler, working pressure 80psi, feed by axle and hand pumps. Cast iron cylinder with slide valves actuated by Hackworth gear with pole reverser in cab. Twin mechanical lubricators.
