5 inch gauge "Tich" 0-4-0

A 5 inch gauge "Tich", scaled up from LBSC's 3 1/2 inch gauge design.

Recently emerged from a shed and with a liberal coating of surface rust, whilst looking horrendous it pushes along freely. Valve gear has been made and erected on one side, there are laser cut profiles - expansion link, eccentric & radius rods, combination lever, drop link & union link - for the other.

The copper boiler appears well made, put together with a generous quantity of silver solder - it's debatable whether you'd hydraulic test or Hall mark it. Before that though it will need the dome flange soldered into the barrel.

Complete with assorted unmachined gunmetal castings and a hardback copy of "Simple Locomotive building - introducing LBSC's Tich".
