7 1/4 inch gauge GWR 1366 0-6-0PT

A 7 1/4 inch gauge GWR 0-6-0PT to Keith Wilson's "1366" design. An older engine, well made originally, which has come to us recently along with the workshop machinery used to build it.

Unsteamed in some years when it came to us, the boiler has had recent hydraulic and steam tests, with new certification issued. On the track it ran well, free-steaming and responsive to the regulator - there's some video of it on our YouTube channel here.

Boiler feed is by injector and axle pump - the mechanical pump well-sized for the job, keeping up with demand whilst not drowning the boiler. There is a second injector fitted with steam feed, although not piped up for delivery.

There is a driver's brake valve and vacuum gauge fitted, apparently the start of a project to fit vacuum brake equipment - it would require some pipework and an ejector to complete.
