Generally in good condition, there's some heat-related damage to the front end - what is either glue or a plastic seal has melted and bubbled out around the bogie axle, and the front buffer beam has fallen off. Not a region typically exposed to high temperature, we suspect that it was caused by a meths fire on the track.

A shame, as it's otherwise well-made and nicely detailed. The boiler has had a new hydraulic test, the engine running well in both directions if somewhat shy-steaming.
