Part-built 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS 2-6-4T

An early stage 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS 2-6-4T to Martin Evans' "Jubilee" design using Reeves castings.

Work to date comprises a rolling chassis with smokebox and copper boiler, there is a quantity of unmachined castings in gunmetal and iron, along with a stainless steel grate.

Machining work is done to a good standard, crisply done with good fit and finish. Pump eccentric straps and sheaves are machined and fitted.

The boiler has been neatly flanged, silver solder shows good penetration, firebox stays are all calked.
