An interesting small compound marine engine, of freelance design with Stephenson's reversing gear and fitted with condenser pump. Unused in many years it turns over fairly stiffly although without tight spots - more lack of lubrication than deficiency of construction we think. Valve eccentrics need resetting, it will turn over half a turn before needing some steam at t'other end of the cylinder.
