3 inch scale steam outline Foden wagon

A 3 inch scale battery-electric Foden overtype steam wagon, built to a good standard it remains in excellent condition.

We've all had a go on this one. Around the yard, round the workshop, up and down the road outside - it's just about the most fun you can have on a machine of this size without having to put a fire in it!

Based around an invalid trike, it's powerful, easily coping with an adult driver across a variety of terrain. It's fitted with a sound card giving a surprisingly realistic, speed-related "chuff", which adds a great deal to the driving experience.

Driven and steered using the original handlebar setup, it has a key-operated on/off switch as well as a rotary speed controller, allowing maximum speed to be set anywhere from "gentle" to "alarming" - ideal for teaching the younger engine driver.

Complete with a new set of batteries, it's ready to rally (although, with the price of steam coal these days, we could be tempted to keep it ourselves!)
