Stuart beam engine

A finely made Stuart beam engine, attractively finished in Stuart's "house colours" of dark green and black with polished brightwork and mounted on a hardwood base.

The engine is fitted with a displacement lubricator and the earlier style turned links for the Watt's parallelogram - more elegant (although a more work to make) than the later, flat plate design.

Good standard of fit and finish throughout, the engine turns over freely and runs well on air.
