3 1/2 inch gauge B1 "Chamois"

A particularly well built 3 1/2 inch gauge LNER B1 4-6-0 No.1029 "Chamois", finished in lined Darlington green livery.

Built in 1981 and unsteamed in recent years, it appears to have had little use from new.

In good condition throughout, the chassis runs beautifully on air in both directions; the silver soldered copper boiler has had recent hydraulic test with new certification issued; paintwork - well-executed in the first place - remains in unworn, bright condition.
