A 3 ½ inch gauge Great Western Prairie, combining the remains of one engine including boiler and platework, with a nicely-made new slip-eccentric chassis.
The boiler is silver-soldered copper, it has been tested this week and is in sound condition.
The engine is largely complete, the main job is painting and reassembly rather than any heavy duty machining work.
Hydraulic certificate @160 psi for 80psi working, 23-Nov-2009
