3 1/2 inch gauge GNR Stirling 8 foot Single

An exceptionally fine 3 1/2 inch gauge Stirling 8 foot single, professionally built by the estimable Graham Larrington of Bridge of Brown Crafts.

He supplied the locomotive complete with a length of scale track and beautifully made display stand with perspex dust cover - it remains unsteamed from new.

Not a lot to write about this one, the pictures speak for themselves. We've had several of Graham's engines over the years, including a 4 inch Garrett agricultural engine, 3 1/2 inch gauge "Hielan Lassie" and various Stuart models, including a superb Victoria mill engine and steam hammer.

In deference to its condition, whilst we're happy to warranty the locomotive, we have made no attempt to test the boiler or steam the engine.
