3 1/2 inch gauge GWR 43XX

The largely complete chassis rolls freely, it's complete with cylinders, motion work and valve gear.

Boiler is silver soldered with neatly flanged plates and good solder penetration - it requires pickling to clean off residual flux deposits which have discoloured over the years. It's been stamped up with maker's name, boiler number, working and test pressure.

There is a box of loose parts, including some platework for cab; boiler fittings including pressure gauge and injectors; tender wheels, axles and frames; safety valve and steam pipe covers; smokebox parts and miscellaneous other smaller components.

As far as I recall the first one of this handsome design we've had in 3 1/2 inch gauge (although if you need some inspiration, worth having a look at the superb 7 1/4 inch gauge example we sold at the back end of last year).
