3 1/2 inch gauge "Juliet" 0-4-0T

A well-advanced 3 1/2 inch gauge 0-4-0T to LBSC's "Juliet II" design, one of the nicest examples we've seen.

We first sold this one back in 2023, it's recently come back from a long-time customer - a prolific, highly accomplished builder - who, with advancing years, is rationalising the number of projects in his workshop.

Since the last time it was here, work done includes provision and fitting of a smokebox door, machined set of buffers and a finely made brass cab.

The boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued. The chassis rolls freely and runs on air in either direction, although requiring final valve setting.

Complete with drawings and copies of the original "Model Engineer" construction articles from 1947.
