Immensely scruffy paintwork, front sections of running boards are missing, regulator leaks, along with pistons and valves - although the wheels turn under air, it would be stretching any commonly understood definition of the word to describe it as "running".

On hydraulic test boiler appeared structurally sound and dry bar one leak on the foundation ring.

All that said, it's a handsome design by Stanier - we sold a particularly good one way back in 2011, there are pictures in the archive here.
