3 inch scale Aveling & Porter steam tractor

A Maxitrak 3 inch scale Aveling & Porter steam tractor, recently recovered as part of a large collection of models alongside an Aveling & Porter wagon and 3 inch scale Burrell.

The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued - we would warranty it as sound - and the engine runs on air in both directions.

The regulator leaks badly, there are several leaky fittings, and the pressure gauge requires replacement.

In need of a thorough mechanical & cosmetic restoration, there's nevertheless the potential for a fine engine here - we've had several well-sorted examples in the past which you can see in the Archive.
