3 inch scale Rider-Ericsson hot air engine

A quarter size model of the Rider-Ericsson 8 inch hot air engine produced at the end of the nineteenth century. The original was rated at a breathtaking 1/8 hp, capable of pumping 500 gallons per hour.

This engine is complete and turns over freely. It could be fired using either a gas or spirit burner.
