3 inch scale Wallis & Steevens "Simplicity" steam roller

An older example of Wallis & Steevens' wonderfully quirky "Simplicity" steam roller. The innovative Basingstoke company built a batch of twenty of these diminutive 3 ton, diagonal boilered machines in the 1920s, several of which survive in preservation.

This one came in recently along with a four inch scale "Little Samson" which we sold some years ago. Neither engine has been used in recent times.
