5 inch gauge AME "Vulcan 4" battery electric

An AME "Vulcan 4", a large battery electric rated by the manufacturer for hauling its driver plus 10 to 14 passengers.

A one-owner, factory-built locomotive, supplied new in 2022 and fitted with optional sound card, buffers, nameplates and high capacity 50Ah batteries, uprated from the standard fit 42Ah type. It's had occasional use from new and remains in excellent condition throughout.

Bogies are each fitted with a pair of 24 volt motors, with Mtroniks DCi 120-24 controller and remote hand set. The locomotive is fitted with LED headlight and two tone horns. There is further information and a comprehensive specification for the Vulcan 4 on AME's excellent website here.
