5 inch gauge Class 37 battery electric

A 5 inch gauge Class 37 battery electric, built from a kit supplied by Bexhill and fitted with 24 volt controller, driving six motors via a Parkside controller. Can be used on its own, however the builder assembled a pair which can be driven from a single controller - see the other one we have in stock.

Like most battery electric locomotives, this one pulls apart in moments - it can be transported as chassis, pair of bogies, body and batteries, each of which is an easy one man lift.
