5 inch gauge freelance battery-electric shunter

A 5 inch gauge battery electric shunter, something of a small shed on wheels with hand-knitted wiring.

Powered by a 12 volt dry-fit battery, with the axles gear-driven by a pair of motors. The locomotive is fitted with radio control, including a Radiolink T4EU transmitter.

Tested, it runs in both directions. At a whisker under two feet it's easy to handle, although with a useful 70 pounds plus of adhesive weight.
