5 inch gauge part-built Simplex 0-6-0T

A part-built 5 inch gauge 0-6-0 tank locomotive to Martin Evans' popular "Simplex" design.

 

Work to date is to a pedestrian standard, although the rods have been well profiled and fluted. Chassis is substantially complete, with enough loose parts to get close to air running.

There is platework for the cab and tanks.
