7 1/4 inch gauge display stand

Update 25th September - with space in the workshop at a premium, we've dropped the price on this one to encourage a quick sale. If it's still here at the end of the week, we'll be forced to rehome it into the firebox of the Fowler...

A 7 1/4 inch gauge display stand, built as one of a pair many years ago for a pair of locomotives at the Wellington Park Country Railway - a Great Central "Director" by James Beeson and LMS "Royal Scot".

It's spent the last ten years underneath a fine Stirling Single, which is now moving elsewhere in the house, requiring a different stand.

Very robustly built and extremely heavy - as I remember it was a four man job getting it into the house in the first place (and as much work again getting the locomotive lifted onto it!).

Complete with wooden sleepered, aluminium rail track with ballast.
