7 1/4 inch gauge Phoenix "Tug" with tender

A 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge "Tug" battery-electric locomotive, complete with a tender/passenger coach housing a pair of 105Ah batteries.

Substantially built, with all steel chassis and body, the locomotive and tender combined weigh in at just under a third of a ton with batteries.

The locomotive is powered by a pair of 24V, 750W Movimotors, with chain drive to the axles. Control is by an iDrive D51488.05 with Phoenix handset. There are a pair of 12V horns fitted - working, but requiring a small auxiliary battery.

In good condition, it runs well in either direction - ideal motive power for a narrow gauge garden layout.
